It all started with a swipe right - well, technically two! We first connected on Hinge in 2021 and chatted briefly, but life had other plans. Fast forward to August 2022, when Jake updated his Hinge profile with a photo featuring a familiar face - Austin, a mutual friend, Jake's childhood buddy, and Angelina's coworker. That small update sparked a second chance, and soon after, we re-matched.

Our first date was at Sandbar in Cold Spring Harbor on September 9, 2022, and the connection was instant. After just a few dates filled with laughter, great food, and long conversations, Jake officially asked Angelina to be his girlfriend on October 2, 2022, a date that will forever hold special meaning as it's now the day we'll say "I do" exactly four years later.

On March 16, 2025, during a trip to Paris, we had a dinner planned at Jules Verne, the restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower. Before dinner, Jake suggested a stroll along the river, and that walk turned into pure magic. White roses, flickering candles, and rose petals lined the path, and there, under the soft glow of the Parisian evening, Jake got down on one knee and asked Angelina to marry him. It was a fairytale moment we'll treasure forever!
